Terms & Conditions

These terms cover what happens when you browse modallabel.com and buy something from us. By placing an order you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, email hello@modallabel.com before you buy and we'll explain it plainly.

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. Prices can change — the price shown at checkout is the one you'll be charged.

We photograph our own pieces and describe the fit as accurately as we can, but screens shift colour a little, so a garment in real life may read slightly different to the one on your phone.

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm your order and take payment — occasionally a piece sells out between your cart and checkout, in which case we'll let you know and refund you in full.

Payments are processed by Shopify. We never see or store your full card number.

We ship within Australia only, and shipping is paid by the customer. Full costs, timing and the free-shipping threshold are on our Shipping & Returns page.

You have 14 days from delivery to return a piece, provided it's unworn with the tags still on. Return shipping is paid by the customer. The full set of rules — including what happens if something arrives faulty — is on our Shipping & Returns page.

Follow the care label on your garment. Modal is at its best washed cool and dried in the shade; heat and tumble-drying are what wear ribbed fabric out over time.

Nothing in these terms excludes, limits or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law — including the guarantee that our goods are of acceptable quality and fit for purpose. If a piece is faulty or not as described, those rights apply on top of our returns policy.

The MODAL LABEL name, our garment tags, product photography and the copy on this site belong to us. Please don't reuse them to sell your own products.

We may update these terms; the version published here is the one that applies to an order placed today.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
